Description
To get out onto the ledge of Cathedral Ledge (behind us), you have to go down a pathway of roots. I guess when you are trying to grow on a 500ft tall white granite monolith, your roots will just have to look for cracks and water collection spots.
Cathedral Ledge, a mile west of North Conway, New Hampshire, provides a spectacular view and rock climbing similar to Yosemite granite face. A quick way to get to the top is to drive some switchbacks from behind the face.
