Description
These wonderful Sycamore trees thrive in the natural protection of Beaver Creek, a feeder creek to the Verde River. Behind us up in the cliffs is the national monument, Montezuma Castle, a 20 room cliff dwelling used by the Sinagua over 1000 years ago. Montezuma Castle National Monument is located 3 miles north of Camp Verde, Arizona. The Verde Valley is not as hot as the desert and not as cold as the mountains and is near the exact center of Arizona.
