Description
The foot is the strongest part of a bridge. Rocks, mortar, and chewing gum must have been strong for the Albany Covered Bridge to be standing tall since 1858. Maybe not chewing gum. This bridge crosses the Swift River 6 miles west of Conway just off of route 112. Half mile upstream is the lower falls.
I couldn't pass up the lighting, the river, the rocks, and the wood.
